Tim Nye Cashes In At The Gauntlet; Takes Points Lead
Racing NewsThe 1st edition of The Gauntlet Challenge is in the books, and it was Tim Nye who came out the race winner and points leader after 1 of the 10 Gauntlet Challenge Races.

From the first green flag dropping to the checkered flag, the racing was intense and drama filled. Justin Boston started the first heat race on point, and was eventually overtaken by Tim Nye then Bob Baker. Baker had Nye in his sights until motor failure issues took him out of the heat. After a great demonstration of sportsmanship, Baker was back out on track for the main event with one of Nye’s backup motors.

The main event was all Tim Nye as he led every single lap(35) start to finish and took home the $500.00 Check as well as the Inaugural Trophy. Bob Baker finished second and Justin Boston rounded out the top 3.

“The Gauntlet is where its at,” said Tim Nye. “Everyone should be coming out to this racetrack its wicked fast, and one of most fun tracks that i’ve been at on coke syrup. You can bet ill be back.”

Finishing Order (Clone Class):

Tim Nye
