DeCuzzi Tires ( www.decuzzitires.com ) has been named official indoor karting tire supplier to the 2011 Indoor Kart World Championship set for July 25 to July 29 in Belgium at Eupener Karting.

The 2011 Indoor Kart World Championship is scheduled to happen from July 25 to July 29. The event will feature 8 races ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour in duration. The IKWC also features the optional Nations Cup race, a 4 man relay, 3 hour endurance race scheduled for July 24. New for 2011 will be an increase of karts on track, with 30 kart grids on the Semi-Final, Final Grand Prix, and Nations Cup races!

Eupener Karting's track is long and very challenging, with a lap of 70+ seconds. The track includes a huge bridge which spans over 3 roads of track underneath. Also planned is the addition of an outdoor sector to be used for some of this year's races. This would extend the track another 200 to 500 meters, which would be by far, the longest track ever used in IKWC competition. It would also be the first time an outdoor sector would be used at the World Championship, and the first time the outside weather may play a more direct part in the competition.

DeCuzzi Tires a leading manufacturer of indoor and outdoor karting tires had been the official tire of IKWC 2010 held in Phoenix, AZ and also of the United States Indoor Karting Championship ( USIKC ) for 2010.
