Guy Fieri and Diners, Drive-In's and Dives Films Upcoming Episode at Victory Lane Indoor Karting

Citizen Pictures just finished shooting 3 days of Diners Drive Ins and Dives at our facility this week. We almost needed oxygen to recover after receiving the call on January 19 that Pit Road Bar & Grill had been selected for the show. Guy Fieri is responsible for many restaurant success stories and his economic influence creates a phenomenon called “The Fieri effect”. We hoped but were not promised that Guy would get in a kart and tie together the food and racing parts of our business. The deal was sealed when Guy’s friend and NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer was brought in to appear with Guy in our episode.

The chemistry between Guy, Clint and our chef Donnie was great and the shoot went flawlessly and on schedule. Guy raced with Clint and some of the crew and several of us did racing for some background shots. The Citizen Pictures crew was professional and really nice people. We trust the editing will produce a segment that we will all be proud to embrace and pray that “The Fieri Effect” will be in full force after it airs on Food Network.

We appreciate the patience of our wonderful customers and employees through the last couple months and especially the last week as filming changed so many schedules and events. We have been promised a 1 month heads up before our segment airs and we will hold a premiere party here on the date (possibly May) of airing.
