Owned by husband and wife franchisees, Eyal Farage and Karen Davis-Farage, operators of Pole Position Raceway locations in Jersey City, NJ, at Destiny USA in Syracuse, NY and newly opened at Walden Galleria in Buffalo, NY, this new facility will add 40 jobs to the local economy.
Located in the southwest section of the mall, formerly occupied by Bon-Ton, Pole Position Raceway’s 52,000 square foot facility boasts one quarter-mile track and the latest in high-performance, all-electric, indoor karts capable of speeds up to 45 MPH. Pole Position Raceway features adult karts for racers who are at least 58 inches tall and separate junior karts for kids who are at least 48 inches tall. Best of all, the karts use electric technology, so there are no fumes – they are clean and green.

Its “Arrive & Drive” racing is for those visiting the mall that enter a queue to race against others. Pre-Scheduled Racing events are for groups of 10+ and include the Pole Position Challenge, Grand Prix or Super Pole which are 2, 3 or 4 race events culminating with racers receiving 1st, 2nd & 3rd place medals at the Winners’ Circle. In addition to side-by-side race action, Pole Position Raceway also features authentic racing memorabilia, arcade games, concessions and V.I.P spaces for private parties, personal celebrations, corporate events and fundraisers.

Pole Position Raceway is the second store to be announced for the redevelopment of the southwest section of the mall, including the former Bon-Ton space. Field & Stream announced its first location in upstate New York in January 2014. The redevelopment will bring two to three new retail and entertainment concepts, in addition to three to four new restaurants. Additional announcements are expected to be made in the coming weeks.
