Facility NewsFun in circles, indoors

Kids can pretend they’re in the Indy 500 at Grand Prix New York in Mount Kisco, where karting enthusiasts gear up in blue vintage-style body suits, helmets and neck collars before revving their Italian Sodi RX7 engines. The gasoline-powered karts can reach a maximum speed of 40 mph and will run for four hours between fill-ups. A video arcade, a bouncy castle, and a restaurant and bar are also part of the indoor facility. Hours: noon-10 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays, noon-midnight Friday, 10 a.m.-midnight Saturdays, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Sundays. Fees vary. At 333 N. Bedford Road, Mount Kisco. 914-241-3131, www.gpny.com.
