Grand Prix New York Leadership On The Road to Better Health With Help From Skinny Buddha
Facility NewsGPNY Vice President Nat Mundy is looking and feeling a lot better than he was 9 weeks ago, thanks to the folks at Skinny Buddha. He began his journey to better health with “Buddha’s Detox” – a 5-day food and exercise regimen designed to make people aware of how their diet affects their health and get their bodies functioning at an optimum level.

“I was ready to get my energy back after seven years behind a computer desk,” said Mundy. “I knew I needed to pay more attention to what I was eating, and my exercise regimen. Skinny Buddha got me on the right track very quickly.”

During the detox, Mundy ate a very specific diet of organic meals supplied by Skinny Buddha, and trained with a Skinny Buddha personal trainer for half an hour each day, focusing on multi-joint exercises to burn fat and boost metabolism with the goal of a more effective detoxification.

According to Skinny Buddha Catering Company Head Chef Elyce Jacobson, this program is unique because it’s the only one that provides prepared organic meals with one-on-one personal training.

“Buddha’s Detox is not a long-term solution,” explains Jacobson. “The goal is to make each person aware of their past habits, while giving them the motivation to change any that are detrimental. Buddha’s Detox also provides clients with a safety net – a spring board to bounce back if he finds himself slipping back into bad habits.”

Moving forward, Mundy continues to train with Skinny Buddha two times a week, losing weight and feeling better and better.

Skinny Buddha offers many other program and meal combinations in addition to to Buddha’s Detox. Visit www.myskinnybuddha.com for details.
