NASCAR DRIVERS MEET-AND-GREET WITH FANS AT OCTANE RACEWAY PHOENIX, AZ

WHO: Octane Raceway, Aloft Hotel Tempe and NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series Drivers offer an evening of adrenaline-pumping fun for Valley residents.

WHAT: The evening kicks off with Octane’s Phoenix International Raceway Pit Crew Challenge, where teams of novices go head to head completing a full four tire pit stop on an actual NASCAR racecar. The fastest Pit Crew receives tickets to the NASCAR Sprint Cup races at PIR, Octane Raceway annual memberships and other Octane goodies. Round up your crew and enter today through Facebook by posting a picture of your crew, getting chosen to compete, completing your pit stop in the fastest time, then winning!

After the Pit Crew winners are crowned, NASCAR fans can mingle with NASCAR drivers, shaking hands and getting autographs. Meet Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series #87 Joe Nemecheck, Nationwide Series #39 Dexter Stacey and Nationwide Series, former six-time World Karting Champion #08 Paulie Harraka.

Octane Raceway is offering $12 kart racing for the evening in addition to other super charged activities like the Segway Performance Course, video games, billiards, and a rock-climbing wall. Food and drink specials will also be available.

ADMISSION: Entry to the event is ten canned food items, which will be donated to KNIX’s Million Can Crusade benefitting St. Vincent de Paul Food Banks.
