Greenwich kids burn rubber at GPNY Mt.Kisco, NY Junior Camp
Facility NewsCameron Evans, Greer Sconzo, Rafe Sconzo and Theo Evans of Greenwich, recently completed the Junior Racing Summer Camp at Grand Prix New York/Spins Bowl located in Mount Kisco, N.Y.

The Junior Racing Summer Camp program teaches junior drivers the basics of driving and racing. During the week long racing program, campers worked their way through a course curriculum which includes learning how to identify and follow racing lines, kart control, passing, and defending. Campers experienced five days of high speed wheel-to-wheel instruction and racing, along with other recreational activities including the iRacing Sim Room, bowling and the arcade.

Grand Prix New York’s five day Novice Camp is specifically designed for drivers ranging from the ages of seven to 16-years-old with little or no experience in karting/driving. Under the guidance of qualified instructors, the participants drive and race against each other. More information about the Junior Racing Camp can be found at Gpny.com/Junior_Racing_School.

Upon successful completion of the camp week, the junior drivers are qualified to drive in Grand Prix’s Junior Racing Leagues and other competitive junior racing events that will put their skills to the test.
