Facility NewsAs summer temperatures skyrocket Pole Position Raceway in Jersey City offers cool, wind-in-your-face racing thrill at the new state-of-the art track located near Liberty State Park. Minutes from Manhattan, the center is convenient to PATH train service and Liberty State Park Water Taxi.

The 80,000 square foot, climate controlled facility features two quarter-mile tracks and the latest in high-performance, all-electric, emission-free indoor karts capable of reaching speeds of 45 MPH; kids karts top out at 25 MHP.

A favorite of celebrities and athletes including NY Jets Mark Sanchez and Bart Scott, P2R Jersey City has been featured on “Good Morning America,” ESPN'S "First Take," “Good Day New York,” TLC’s “Cake Boss,“ and Nickelodeon’s “Victorious.” P2R offers Monday night Super G racing, an Adult Racing League, Youth Summer Racing Camps and more. The motorsports entertainment venue features an impressive display of authentic racing memorabilia, meeting and party rooms, video and arcade games, and more.

“What’s unique about Pole Position Raceway is the sensation that people get while driving on a real race track,” says Karen Davis-Farage, co-owner of Jersey City‘s P2R. “In most cases, this is the closest thing to real racing that people will ever experience….and there is no heat or gas fumes from electric karts! “

P2R was built for races by racers and 2004 NASCAR champion Kurt Busch, 7-time AMA Supercross champion Jeremy McGrath and X-games freestyle gold medalist Mike Metzger are among the many professional racers who helped create this ultimate racing experience.

P2R is open Monday-Thursday 12noon - Friday 12 noon - 11pm; Saturday 11 am-Midnight and Sunday 11am-9pm.
