Event Time: 4:00 pm – 9:30 pm

1st qualifying race: 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
2nd Race Time: qualifying race: 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Shootout event to determine winner: 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Location: Victory Lane Karting Indoor Center,2320 Tipton Drive, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28206

Event Format: 30 teams compete; two 1-hour heat races to determine the 16 team shootout field; Last race will be a 1.5-hour race with 16 qualifiers total; Each team will be comprised of six drivers; all drivers will be required to complete at least 1 segment

Who: Join the Paralyzed Veterans of America along with NASCAR drivers and racing enthusiasts, in a friendly go-karting competition, to raise funds to support Paralyzed Veterans of America

Attendance: Approximately 350 guests

Mission: The Paralyzed Veterans of America is the only congressionally chartered veteran services organization dedicated solely to the benefit and representation of veterans with spinal cord injuries or spinal cord disease. Their mission is to provide both physical and vocational rehabilitation and legal services (veteran’s affairs) as well as assist in the removal of structural barriers in public and private facilities for paralyzed citizens.
