Racing NewsF1 Race Factory Announces 2011 USIKC Competition Dates

Phoenix, Arizona (April 11, 2011) – F1 Race Factory announced today the 2011 dates for the U.S. Indoor Kart Championship (USIKC), which have been set for November 4-6th.

The best kart drivers from around the United States will be traveling in November once again to Phoenix, Arizona, to compete in the 7th annual U.S. Indoor Karting Championship, which will be held at F1 Race Factory. Additionally, for the first time ever, this year’s competition will be open to Canadian drivers.

Drivers will compete in six races over the three day event in the hope of seizing the winner’s crown from two-year reigning USIKC Champion (2009, 2010) Jon Kimbrell from San Juan Capistrano, CA. Competitors will race on 6 different track configurations every race, on each of the 1/4 mile tracks as well as the exclusive 1/2 mile GP track. Racers will receive points for each race, and at the end of the three day competition, a USIKC individual racer and a team champion will be crowned.

Competitors will be racing in the latest generation of Sodi RX7 karts from France, which arrived at F1 in February.

Delivering high performance, safety, reliability and exceptional ergonomics, these professional racing karts provide drivers with the ultimate racing experience. The 2011 karts also maintain the company’s commitment to “going green.” Through their sustainability partnership with EcoAid™ , F1 Race Factory has reduced their emissions and offset their environmental impact through the purchase of carbon credits, applied toward renewable domestic clean air energy projects.

Racers who plan to compete in the 2011 USIKC are encouraged to register as early as possible to guarantee their entry spot in the competition; the field of drivers for the 2011 event will be limited to 80 racers.

For all entries completed on or before October 1st, registrants will receive a $50 discount off the standard entry fee of $350. After the early registration discount date has passed, the standard entry fee will apply. Online registration is available HERE.
